There are so many tools available to business owners these days. There can almost be too many — it’s overwhelming!
The good news is that many of them are remarkably inexpensive and can make your day-to-day so much more efficient.
These are just some of the resources I personally use and recommend based on first-hand experience.
Privacy Policy Generator
Did you know that if you are collecting any personal information from visitors to your website, it is considered best practice to have a privacy policy?
This includes collecting emails!
Knowing where to begin with drafting policies for our businesses can be overwhelming. I recommend PrivacyPolicies for generating a free, easily-downloadable Privacy Policy for your website. You’ll need to answer just a few quick questions and then your policy will be auto-populated with custom-to-you information. They also have other policies available such as Terms & Conditions, Cookie Policies and Disclaimers. Other policies may not be free to generate. Disclaimer: Keep in mind that working with an attorney is always the best way to ensure you’re meeting lawful requirements as needed for you and your business.
Here is more information about why all websites need a privacy policy and how to create one.
